Alebrijes Cafe & Grill: A Taste of Authentic Mexican Cuisine in Litchfield Park

The chilaquiles are incredible (I have had them twice - they never disappoint). Had a goat cheese poblano omelette once just to try something different it was not great at all. So just will stick to the regular.

Mauricio was a great server! Him and the staff kept the Cafe de Olla cafe coming and it was soo delicious! Los Chilaquiles Divorciados - Oaxaca style was the best! It was such a great experience and the food was so yummy! We arrived at 8am and it was perfect timing.

Third time here, and the service provided by Mauricio was amazing just like the food. If you ever decide to stop by I strongly recommend the Cafe de Olla for your drink of choice. I had the Mole Enchiladas with the side of chicken and it was perfect. Def will continue coming back!

I was in the area and decided to stop here for lunch. Of course I had to try the chilaquiles. I got the red sauce with mole sauce on the side. Also added chorizo. It was amazing! Great sauce, crunchy chips, good portion size. I was surprised that chips and salsa are not free, but not a huge deal. Recommend this spot for lunch or dinner. It wasn't super busy and there was no wait to sit down.

Alebrijes has really good authentic food. We love the chilaquiles and cafe de olla. The service our server Mauricio provided was on point! Always making sure we were good and attentive to anything we needed. I gave the atmosphere one less star because it can get a little loud with the music and people trying to talk over that. But the environment is fun overall.

I seriously can’t say enough good things about this place! The Chilaquiles are hands-down the BEST in Glendale — flavorful, fresh, and always cooked to perfection. I’m also obsessed with the Machaca tacos… they are absolutely fabulous every single time. Their coffee? Out of this world! The service is consistently top-tier, and the owners truly make you feel like family. I also love that they bring out mole and chips the moment you sit down — such a nice touch! The place is spotless and always well-kept. Yes, there can be a bit of a wait, but trust me, the food is always worth it. Highly recommend!

One of my favorite Mexican restaurants. Great, quick service. Our server, Mauricio was very polite and attentive! All the dishes were beautifully prepped and tastes amazing.

The atmosphere is great. With the decor, the staff and the layout it feels very tight knit and family friendly and very welcoming. Also extra points for the fact that there was plenty of staff to accommodate the crowd. We were quoted about 20-30 minutes to be seated, I did not check the time but that feels pretty accurate. We then waited another 50 minutes for our food. That's honestly the main reason for 3 stars. Looking at over an hour wait for food that was ok, but not something that I would consider memorable. The long wait might have been for technical reasons, like maybe something was broken in the kitchen, or there were less chefs then usual, but if so I wish that would have been communicated so that we could be prepared for the extra wait beyond getting seated.
